Joplin OK’s Sewer Run to Help with Industrial Development

Last night, the Joplin city council approved a $839k sewer project to supply sewer lines to a new 2000 acre industrial development in SW Joplin.  The vote was the council’s way to show their support to help bring more industrial jobs to the Joplin economy. 

After grants and other costs paid for by the EPA, the city of Joplin will be responsible for approximately $350k of the project cost.
